Well, Ann, Alec and myself decided to take a vacation to Dallas, TX for the first week of our summer visitation. Ann had bought
tickets to a Texas Ranger / Toronto Blue Jays game for all of us to attend and tickets to Hurricane Harbor for Alec and me to go to.
.:Wednesday:.
Alec and I got up that morning and took the trolly to the water park. We had a blast the whole day, or at
least until the weather started to get bad and I thought it would be a better idea to leave the water park before lightening hit.
Alec didn't care for it much, but being the great boy he is he didn't complain. Once we got back to the hotel we got cleaned up and
walked over to Boston's to grab a bite to eat and meet back up with Ann. Once we
got there Ann called me on the phone and told me she had a surprise for Alec and would be at the restaurant soon. When she got there
she asked me and Alec to go out to the car and get her wallet out of the back of the Tahoe.

Alec's new bike!! |
To mine and his surprise she had bought him a brand new motorcycle.
He was so excited, he had been asking us for one for months. I'm sure it drove him insane knowing he wasn't going to get to
ride it until we got back home on Friday, which is another story altogether. After the excitement had settled we went in and ate
some dinner and then back up to the room to get ready for the game.
We got back on the trolly and headed to the game. When we got the weather was perfect, not too hot or humid. We found our seats
and got a few hotdogs and a drink a waited for the game to start. Before the game could start however the weather turned on us and
started raining. The wind got up to 70mph and the rain just kept coming. They eventually called the game and we decided to just go back
to the room and relax.
.:Thursday:.
We woke up around 8:30 and decided to go to the Dallas World Aquarium. This place is amazing and I highly recommend that you see it
at least once if you are in town. We took a lot of photos and they can be found in my Photo Gallery.
After we were finished at the Aquarium Ann wanted to go shopping on Lower Greenville Ave. Alec and I walked around the area checking out the
shops and stuff. Not much was going on though because most of the area was without power due to the storm the night before. Once Ann had gotten
her fix for the day we went back to the hotel and took Alec down to the pool to swim for a bit before we tried our luck at attending another
Ranger / Blue Jays game. We were in luck this time as the weather cooperated and we got to watch the entire game, rain free.
.:Friday:.
We had been throwing the idea around all week at staying through Saturday because we had a hotel room until then. Alec had a baseball party
to celebrate the season that had finished up the weekend before Friday night though and we didn't want him to miss out on it. So, we packed up
and started off on the long drive home. Alec and Ann were lucky enough to be able to sleep through most of it, I however had the pleasure of
driving the entire way....woohooo....
